Poker and Poker rules

Filed under: Poker — admin @ 10:59 am

Poker is traditionally a card game, however, it can also be played using dice. Poker is getting more and more popular every day and so are online casinos, or websites offering online poker tables.

Poker players have developed a slang of their own and it is worth knowing in order to increase the chances of winning. There are at least few different ways of playing poker, but only the traditional one will be described here.

How to play Poker

Players take it in turns to deal cards. When all the players get 5 cards one of them has to make a bet and if others want to take part in the round they have to add to the stake. Players have the opportunity to replace their cards once a round if they add to the stake. This continues until one of the players calls, that is checks the others’ cards. The winner is the player with the highest ‘hand’ wins the round and takes the money.

Craps and craps rules

Craps

Craps is a many casino games with a complex table layout and a large amount of betting options. More people play at craps tables than at any other casino game table.

There is a special craps etiquette that needs to be followed. Craps is the oldest recorded reference to a gambling game that uses dice.

Craps also has the best odds of any casino game. Players with a good strategy can get an edge over the house.

How to Play Craps

The complex table and a lot of betting options are actually quite simple to learn. Craps is a game of rounds, with two rounds in every game. The first one is called the Come Out and the second one is called the Point.

It is important for players to learn ‘craps lingo’ so they can understand what is going on.

The main objective in the Come Out is for the shooter (throwing the dice) to roll a 7 or an 11. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or a 12 then that roll is a loss. These numbers are called craps (2, 3, 12). If any other number is rolled in the round (1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10), it will become the Point and the game will go to the second round.
